    20 children on basket ball court 3 wearing white shirts what fraction are wearing white shirts? What fraction are not?

    3 out of 20 children are wearing white shirts. The remaining children aren't. To find the remaining children, subtract the white shirt children from the total children. 20-3=17, so 17 out of 20 students aren't wearing white. 3 out of 20 equals the fraction 3/20. 17 out of 20= 17/20. So 3/20 students are wearing white, 17/20 of the children are not wearing white.
