    You are on SSI and not SSD or one of the other ss? I know you can on SSD.

    There are many factors (mother? Who lives where? Ages?) so you have to apply at your state welfare office.

    You sure for SSI? Even though it's not SSD?
    SSI is state administered.

    Yes all social security is done at the social security office in my state. All welfare does is TANF, foodstamps and medical for people not eligible for social security.
