    Toilet Refill
The Tank fills very slowly. The small tube that goes to the center standing pipe is flowing at a very rapid flow. It is supposed to fill the bowl I think? If I take that tube and remove it and let it fill the tank if fills very quickly. It seems, to me, to be "Bass Ackwards" and wasting lots of water. Am I correct?

Tom, I have the 400A looking one with just a slightly different water level adjustment. I am thinking there is a replacement area under the cap. It came with the toilet so I don't have any info on it. Surely it it the 400A type. Thanks

I have found that with these ballcocks the water will swell the small hole in the washer shads, restricting the flow.
The solution is to replace a small black washer. Purchase a fluid master washer part number 243. See the illustration for directions are replacing the washer. When you have the ball cock apart place a pan over the opened ball cock enter the water back on to flush out the supply. Good luck, Tom

Thanks Tom, I purchased a Jacuzzi Toilet about 2 years ago and when I opened it up I found that the universal washer for a 400 will not be the right one to use in the Jacuzzi.
So I went and purchased a Fluidmaster 400 replacement.

Called Jacuzzi before I opened the unit and I think they are sending me a repair kit, will have to wait and see what they send. Right now all is well with the New 400 Also, I had purchased a part number 242 in hopes it would fix the Jcz. Hmmm, did I get the wrong part or is your #243 a typo?

Anyway I have a Jcz Toilet Fill Valve and if Jcz does indeed send me a replacement kit, I will have a spare.
