    Linpus first boot
    Hi there,

I bought a brand new Acer Aspire One 725 11.6" netbook with Linux-Linpus OS.
At first boot, after few default check (all OK) it ends up at a black screen where I can do practically nothing.

Here is the screenshot: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

I read in some forum that the command "startx" should bring me to the graphic user interface, but it does not.

    Can you please help me?

Is there an Acer support centre in Leipzig, Germany, where I can bring the netbook?

    Many thanks
    Cheers

Doesn't sound promising I'm afraid as Linpus is not a user friendly flavor of linux.
New Acer notebook with linpus linux won't boot!!!
