    How long is the blood clot supposed to last after tooth extraction?
    I had my lower molar extracted 3 days ago , yesterday there clearly was a blood clot , today there isn't Im worried I might get dry socket.

    Don't worry.
    Keep swishing vigorously with warm salted water, and keep gently brushing the gum to remove any dead tissue (it shouldn't hurt). Worry if it gets red and sore, not white. The white comes off with time and brushing.
