No Clue what I should do
I just got hired as an office assistant and have been working as such for three weeks. My supervisor is a super person but under tremendous stress. The owner has too many irons in the fire and my supervisor, who is essentially office manager, runs practically the entire business. She just gave notice that she is quitting because she can no longer handle the stress, babysitting the owner, and trying to constantly answer questions she doesn't the answers for. I am in no position whatsoever to step into her shoes and run this business. The owner doesn't have time to run it himself because he is too busy making sales. I really have no idea what to do, what I'm obligated to do, or how what I do will impact my future employment. What do you suggest?

Wait for the owner to hire a new manager.
