    Should dentist get more money?
I needed a lot of dental work and I went over all the procedures with the lady in billing, I agreed to the amount she told me, I chose for the sedation as there was so much to be done and I am very nervous of dentists so I paid the total amount that they quoted me, the next visit the lady in billing said I owed more money as the dentist needed to more, I already paid them what I make in a year and there were some things he didn't do plus I was sedated and no one got my approval, does anyone think I should have to pay anymore? I have made them 2 payments, but I don't think I should have to pay anymore so what do you think? It was an IV sedation so I was totally out.

As with any professional, a dentist can only rely on the tools he/she has to make an initial diagnosis. So, upon treatment, the dentist noticed more work needed to be done. If the work was completed, then you should pay. If it hadn't been completed, you would need to undergo more sedation and another procedure. Would you have wanted to go through it again, or are you glad it's done? If you hadn't been sedated, I'm quite certain you would have been asked if you were going to have the additional work done.
