    My name is on my husbands bank account but I don't work can a credit card judgement ta
    In 2002 I had a credit card I don't remember having the card they are going to put a judgement on me for non payment I'm marryed no and my name is on my husbands banking account I don't work due to health reason can the judgement take money from my husbands account

    If your name is on the bank account, you too are an owner, whether you have a job or not.

    Yes, you are an owner of the account so its equally your asset. I suggest he close that account and open a new one in his name only.

    Some states do permit funds in joint account to be exempt. You must be able to prove the funds in the account belong to your husband only, that he alone deposited the funds. Check with you local courts.
