    Hair drug test
    I have a hair test coming up on may 9
    I'm not a heavy user
    I get shotgun
    I stop smoking this past November. If I stop taking shot guns on February 25 what are chance

    In my experience shotgun means smoking with a pipe - MJ or an herbal.

    What were you smoking?

    MJ grows out - as your hair grows out, traces grow out. It doesn't just disappear. Hair grows about 1/4" a month.

    A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample will go back 90 days. Most employers are only going to test for the most recent use so if you have to take a test on May 9, 2013 I would stop smoking now. Keep in mind the most employers will test for the approximate 7 drugs of abuse. One thing you might have going for you is that employers use a hair drug test that has higher cutoff levels so a small amount of usage might not show up. Hope this help;)
