Dear Friends,

I have to apply the visitor visa back to the US for the music school audition. I must physically present in order to get scholarship. Hopefully, I can get the answer I need without paying a lot of money to attorney.

However, the immigration officers are not art/music major. They do not know why music students must show up the audition in order to get admission. Furthermore, one of their job is to ensure all aliens are not to the US to take advantages from financial resources.

Would you please give me some suggestions ? What information should my university advisory have to add ?

If you've never been denied entry, there should not be a problem. Request a letter from university explaining why you have to be there in person.

Yes a letter from the University inviting you to the audition, and a letter showing that you are required to attend.

If you are going for an audition and then returning home waiting to see if admitted to university, then you just need a tourist visa, not a one for education yet. Until accepted by the university
