    Female capuchin monkey
Is it true that the female has to be spade? I have read that they tend to turn on the female caregiver if they have not been spade.

It is 'spayed' not 'spade' and that is only partially true, but only if you have male and female. The male is very protective of the female, so will attack, not the woman in the house, but the man.
