    How long do you sleep at night?
    Guys,

    I wanted to know how long does the members of this community sleeps at night? I sleep for 8 hrs at night. Does anyone sleep more than me?

    In my 20s, from about 3 am to noon if I didn't have a job.
    Now, in my 60s, from about 9 pm to 4 am, often with an hour on the computer in the middle of the night, and a nap in the day.

    I get 5 to 6 hours a night, that is about it.

    I function best on 9-12 hours of sleep.

    11pm-7am on a good night, but the norm is more like 12am-6am, with many interruptions in between. :(

    I sleep anywhere between 4 hours and 10 hours depending on my work schedule. Ive been known to sleep as long as 21 hours!

    I'm a teacher. I get up, get ready for work, feed my animals, then head off to kindergarten. I have a half hour commute.

    4 to 4 1/2, sometimes 5, can't do the 8 hour thing.
    8 hours of straight sleep? Nope.

    I go to bed at 1 after Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert and get up around 9:30.
