I am 22 years old so I feel there is still time for me to take some risks and find the right career path for me. I did my MBA from top 10 college of Mumbai. I also worked in CA firm so I have good accounting base. However I would like to know what are my options after doing MBA in finance. I feel I have so much more than just finance or accounting knowledge. I am basically a creative thinker. I always wanted to do something more creatively however due to some reasons I ended up doing finance. What happened is history, I can't change that but I don't want to get stuck up doing 9 to 5 boring job in some bank. I feel I am so much more than that. Companies coming over to campus are offering either sales jobs for finance people or order punching jobs. Is there anything that you can suggest which will give me more mental satisfaction.I love football, music (not just playing or listening but I love to know as much as I can about it). Can I have some career in those fields. ( I am not talking about actually playing football or creating music but working in football club or music company).

As the saying goes, the world is now your oyster. Apply for jobs that sound interesting. Begin somewhere to at least get your foot in the door, even if you are not doing exactly what you think you should at the salary you think you should be getting. I started working in libraries shelving books for $3.00 an hour. This turned into a library career of 25 years whereby I created the cataloging department, managed it, and also started a very successful library volunteer corps that I trained and managed. Also, I wrote procedures manuals for everything that are now part of the library's staff wiki. So start somewhere and work your way into whatever position interests you.
