I am a marathi brahmin girl and I am in love with a traditional muslim boy. He also loves me. We truly loves each other. We both want to marry. But there are two problems. First is our religion. Our parents will not accept this. And second is, he is 2 years younger than me. Is this is wrong to get married? What should I do in this condition?

I am also from a brahmin family. I can understand how strict rules govern us. Given that your boyfriend is even not a hindu, I don't think they will ever approve of it. Also he is 2 yrs younger makes your case worse.

I would rather wish life should have been movie types where the hero elopes with the heroine in such cases but the bitter truth is that it is real life and real life is hard. Society will never permit you for such a thing. Another aspect which you must consider is the rampant honour killing these days. If your or his parents come to know about it they may not tolerate it.

I know I am not helping by writing negatives but that's the way it is in india. Hindu and muslims are like two different ends of a dipole.

You won't believe but I even one of my friend who is in love with a muslim guy. Her parents found out and now she lives in a sort of housearrest always escorted by her mom.

I would suggest that you should try and end the relation before it reaches a point where it gets painful to do so.
