    Employment -Payroll Issues
    I have been working for a company for 7 weeks and although issued with a payslip on the 5th November 2012 to date have not received my wages into my bank account have sent emails as can not get any joy as to why have not been paid I was assured that my wages could be in my account by the 7th November but it still failed to show up further calls have been quite infuriating by being spoken to in a derrogatory manner however told I should be patient and informing them that a pound had been paid into my account I was told now there is hope I still have not been paid I was unable to got to work on my next shift I informed my place of work I borrowed some money and arrived on the 13/11/2012 whereby a notice had been displayed in the hall covering issues with payroll staing due to company change over delays with paperwork however they can confirm that payment will be and my bank today 14/11/12... no payment in bank account please advise what my rights are as my employer has threatened some staff with dismissal also due to change over staff should realise they are all on a 3 month probationary period what are my rights as I do not appear to have a leg to stand on ihave have just graduated from university as a RGN Nurse please advise totally stressed

I have a payroll check that is about four years old and the payroll company says that they are in no way obligated to reissue me a check, and that the escheat laws only apply to government office jobs but that is not true. Who would I contact to help me on this problem?
