    How do you take a screen shot from a desktop computer?

    By using the key on your keyboard that has "PrintScreen" or "Prt Scr". That will take a screenshot of your entire screen. If you only want to screenshot the current active windoe use Alt-Prt Scr at the same time.

    Once you do that it looks like nothing happened but the computer has saved the screenshot in its memory/clipboard. You can can Ctrl-V to paste it into whatever place you need to use it.
