I guess he can choose to let people die who have worshipped him on their knees.

I fully love and trust the lord.
However, I also believe Christ when he said 'thou shalt not tempt the lord'
So no. I will not be participating, nor will I be driving that day, if this is even true.

Has anyone stopped to look at the date of this piece, this "event" has already happened, so if it had been a catastrophe we would already know but since it is months ago and we are being told now to be mocked I would say to karma, be careful, what goes around comes around.

Coming from someone who is agnostic. Can some of you indulge me for a minute regarding a question I have.
Say this was legit. Would God actually help them? It seems as if they're forcing Gods hand in the matter? Am I wrong? Just a thought that popped into my head!

God doesn't protect you against stupidity but cars can be steered with knees and they have automatic centreing

Then Jesus isn't taking the wheel is he? You'd be basically saying that you don't believe that he'll watch over you and protect you.

What I am saying is he does protect me from the stupidity of others, but if I make a choice to be stupid I will probably get a warning but I'm on my own, it's called free will. I have not been involved in a serious accident in years and even then no harm came to me

Same here. I've never been involved in a serious accident. I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with religious affiliation.

Your guess is likely correct but I suspect some actually will believe it and try it.
