French canadian music from the 80s
A french Canadian song from the early 80s
    Male singer.
Some of the lyrics are as follows:

"should I leave or should a stay"
    ...
    Am I cheated or awakened,
    Lost or forsaken,
    Does it matter anyway.

    ...
I don't remember most of the words

I checked Charles Aznavor at your suggestion.

The voice is a little different I think.

In the song I'm looking for... He sings the french and then the english translation.

I am french canadian and this question tickles me. You say it's bilingual with lyrics sung in french and then in an english translation. Are you sure it's the same male singer singing in both french and english? Because, if it's a duet between two singers, it could very well be Claude Dubois's Femme de Société where he sings the french part and Leo Kay sings the english version of the lyrics.
