    fell on my knee cap
    I fell on my knee cab ,landed right in the cement and heard it crack. It hurt for a moment and swelled up just a little. Few days past I put pressure on it at work it got swollen within minutes size of a softball red and turning purple veins red stretching down my leg little by little. Went to hospital got x-ray ,results not broken and was given antibiotics and to ice it. Well its been over a month and a half, kneelook different from the other one it a bit bigger more rounder like a bumb, still abit warm in the middle of cab and tender doesn't hurt but I am worried ? First injury do u know what going on please help?

    It's kneecap (the cap of the knee), not cab.

    Why are you on antibiotics? Did you break the skin? Ice I understand.

    Kneecap injuries take a very long time to heal. If this continues I'd go back and get it checked again.

    Here's my legal mind racing ahead - why did you fall?
