If there are any pro level video people out there I need your help. I am wanting to buy a vid-camera. I was just going to buy the cheapest one I could get but have started to read a little and I'm starting to see that just because they all look alike doesn't mean they are alike. They can have vastly different functions and capabilities. My wife wants one for the family thing but I secretly want to become a film maker. I know the old addage of buy the best one you can afford but I have to ask is it better to buy a good used Cannon Ultura that has more manual controls or a 3 ccd unit or a new $279.00 unit from Best Buy. If there are any good sites out there or advise you may have I would appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. Jim
