    Trucking business costs
I would like to know the total cost per mile it takes to operate a tractor trailer, that would include all applicable insurances, driver wages, truck payment, taxes, fuel taxes, fuel, etc, this is based on paying $100000.00 for the power unit and $38000.00 for the trailer. This is of course a national average that I expect to get an answer for. Thanks Big rig.

Ifta is 550 a year can run up to 1900 to start(get tags and sticker) figure on at least .45 a mile for fuel and maintenace truck payment divide your payment by miles to get that figure add approximately 2300 down on ins plus 900 amonth driver pay are you paying percent or by the mile
