Recessed stove hood fan lights blow out after 2 days
Recessed stove hood fan lights blow out after 2 days. 2 times in a row the lights in the hood fan blow out after 1 or 2 days use. These are very expensive halogen bulbs. The hood fan does not have a name or brand on it. The fan continues to work just fine.

Need to check the voltage in the sockets, voltage rating of the lamps, and if the hood is rated to handle halogen lamps.

Voltage could be too high, lamps may be rated for lower voltage, the fixture may trap heat, could be cheap lamps, could be vibration, so many conditions may cause this.
