    What is a 6-3?
Could someone please help me out on this? Here is a question that I can not figure out because I am not a volleyball expert at all, but am trying to educate myself on the sport.
Which brings me to this question.

"If i set you a 6-3, would you know what to do?"

What would I do and what is a 6-3?

    Thanks!

A 6-3 would refer to the position of the setter and the position of the set. The 6 would be where the pass should go. At the net right of center. The 3 would be where the set is going. Left side, or strong side of out side hitter.

    Hopes that helps:)

Take comfort in the fact that anyone who uses that term doesn't know what they are talking about either. I have been playing high level volleyball for 15 years and I have never heard the term "6-3" used.

Like a set to the outside.

I really have never heard of that term before in all my 4 years playing volleyball. Check out my answer under volleyball setting codes if u need help.

    Hope this helps :)
