What size should the dissconnect be if feed from a 100 amp breaker
There is a 100 amp breaker feeding an old air compressor. The old air compressor has been removed . The conduit and wire is where the new air compressor is to be located, but only needs 30 amp feed. If I use a fused disconnect fused at 30 amps does disconnect need to be 100 amp rated.
