    return line leak -
    I have an older 19x37 in ground pool of which I have at replaced everything over the coarse of the last 23 yrs.

    I'm pretty sure it is a return line leak. I plugged that return line with a cap (from in the pool). So here is my question. Will it hurt anything to leave the line capped and repair it in the fall or next spring? Just currently out of $s for a "right-now" fix. Not having a water level issue, but foam on the top with dirt. I capped it this morning, but do not have any other way (aside from turning off the system) of closing off that return line. Will it swell and blow? Sorry for the stupid question, but after all these years of caring for this pool, I have not seen this nor do I want to ruin what I have...

    Thanks in advance for any assistance.
