    I am 16 and I am over weight I weight 216 pounds what can I do to lose weight
    I am 16 and I weigh 216 pounds I want to lose weight I cut down on my junk food and on my sodas and juices I exercise about once a week because I am to busy doing homework but it seems not to work I can't lose weight even if I cut down on all my junk food I need help I want to lose a least 60 pounds in aproximetly a year what can I do help me please

    If you've tried eating healthy and exercising, then it's definitely time to see your doctor about this. There may be a medical reason why you're not losing weight.

    Alty is right you may have a problem with your thyroid gland. But if you don't have a problem...

    1.Water only
    2.Meats-Skinless chicken breast, fish, turkey, deer meat (Only lean meats)
    3.Take all the food you wouldve consumed and instead of eating it over 3 meals eat it over 6.

    Exercise: I'd start you off on a 1 mile jog 4 days a week. If you have access to a gym go their and do three 5minute rounds with the heavy bag 4 days a week. Go all out with punching and you'll work up a great sweat. Plus it relieves stress/anger and its super fun.
    Try taking up a sport you'll get exercise and probably meet some new friends.

    I was overweight in high school the best thing I did was join weight watchers! I remember I joined Feb 1 and by prom I had lost 75# but I stuck with the program! Your young its easier for you to loose weight but you need to learn how, join a program and best of luck! Just cutting back in junk and not changing your overall eatting habbits is not enough
