For simple translations I use Free Translation and Professional Translation Services from SDL International and Translation - SYSTRAN - The leading supplier of language translation software

A couple hints: They usually do better without contractions, so use "I am" instead of "I'm".

Also, you want to keep it as simple as possible. I'd leave "a little bit" out of the 2nd one.

... stay tuned, though. I believe we've got a few french speakers on the forum here.

In French, there is the concept of gender, so I shall put the male and then female versions of this translation.
I'm a student of "college name"
    M: Je suis un élève à l'université "_____"
    F: Je suis une élève à l'université "____"

This semester is a little bit difficult

Ce semestre est un peu difficile.

    I study biology and philosophy
Je suis la biologie et la philosiphie
    .
    I major in nursing
    Je fais des études d'infirmière

    I speak 4 languages
    Je parle quatre langues.

    Au revoir!
