    Could I be pregnant?
I'm 17 and I've had a very regular period since I've been on the ortho evra patch. Which is a about a year and a half. I recently stopped putting it on, the 28th of February and I had a normal period on the 10th of March. It was supposed to come on the 2nd of March but it was late because of my surgery, which was 22nd of February. Since my last period I've had really bad stomach pains and nauseating headaches, I'm more irritable, I'm tired all the time, and I feel bloated, and every time I eat the stomach pains get worse and I start to feel sick to my stomach, but no vomitting. My next period wasn't due until the 17th of April, but instead it came on the 6th of April. Between March 9th and now I've had unprotected sex every weekend and each time he stayed in. The last time I had sex was the 5th of April and my period came on the nxt day(6th of April). I took a home pregnancy test, on the 7th of April, and it came back negative. Is there a possibility that I may still can be pregnant, since my period was early this month.

Any time you have sex, protected or not, a pregnancy is possible.

It is possible the irregularity and other symptoms are just from coming of the patch. Are you actively Trying to conceive? What kind of surgery did you have? Were you prescribed any pills from that surgery? Maybe the side effects you are experiencing are from that. Without knowing your medical history, and without a specimin to test, no on here can tell you if you are pregnant. I can tell you that the probability is VERY high considering your lack of proper birth control.

Might I add, Given the dangers surrounding teen pregnancy, not to mention the social and economic ramifications, I seriously hope you are not trying to conceive and are just being very foolish. If so, get back on protection.

I will assume you are trying to become pregnant, but I do not think it happened this time, ( better luck next month) Seldom are you pregnant and have a period. Most likely this is an effect from coming off the patch. Plus it is not really uncommon not to have regular periods.

But without using birth control and frequest unprotected sex, don't worry you will get pregnant soon.

It was hip surgery and they prescribed me percocet. No I'm not trying to conceive. And the period only lasted two days.

That does change things a bit, it is common to have slight implantation bleeding, so slight bleeding for two days ( that is not having your period) is a sign.

But a pregnancy test would not show up yet. So you will have to wait till you have missed your next period, So if your next period is due April 17, wait a week after that, if you have not had a period, to do a test.

In this case, yes there is a good change you are.
