    Tail light & instrument panel light problem on a 99 grand am
    My tail lights and instrument panel lights are out , fuses all look good..

    . Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. Visual inspection is often not good enough. You want to test for power through the fuses.

    . Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting, after disconnecting the negative battery cable.

    . Check combination light switch and dash lights brightness controller.

    Is your instrument panel adjuster adjusted correctly?
    Have you checked the bulbs on your tail lights, if so have you checked the brake switch on your brake pedal?
