    What is the history of my house?
    I've always wanted to know what the history of my house is but I'm not sure how, can you help find me a web site?

    You can go to the recorder of deeds and find who owned the property, dates there were major changes in taxes.

    You go to the office that does building permits, depending on the area they may go back very far. You research local library for news paper articles about your address.
