I am a 20 year old in college. I just started having sex 3 months ago 5 times know it still hurt and I can't feel anything at all I am thinking it because I am circumcised but I know a lots of women who are and they still enjoy sex. I really can't talk to people about it cause technically I am not suppose to have sex until marriage please help me cause I feel like giving up on sex. Frustrated I am scared like did they circumcise me in a wrong way **** what kind of doctor should I talk to.

Female circumcision does cause problems for a lot of ladies. We have had other people visit here with the same thing. I am very glad you are sharing this and considering getting some medical advice, which I think is exactly what you should do. Here in the UK the GP (general practitioner or family doctor) would be your first port of call for any medical issue. The GP would then refer you to an appropriate specialist.

I'm afraid I don't know how things work in a lot of other places. Could you share with us what part of the world you are from so hopefully someone will come along who will have the right advice for you.

Can I just add that people come on at all different times because of time differences so please bear with us until you get more answers.

    Where is this?

The purpose of female circumcision is to "... curb the sexual desire of girls and women and preserve their 'sexual honor' before marriage." Middle-East-Info.org - Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Pictures and Graphics

"FGM is often motivated by beliefs about what is considered proper sexual behaviour, linking procedures to premarital virginity and marital fidelity. FGM is in many communities believed to reduce a woman's libido, and thereby is further believed to help her resist "illicit" sexual acts. When a vaginal opening is covered or narrowed (type 3 above), the fear of pain of opening it, and the fear that this will be found out, is expected to further discourage "illicit" sexual intercourse among women with this type of FGM." WHO | Female genital mutilation

"Female genital mutilation is classified into four major types.

Clitoridectomy: partial or total removal of the clitoris (a small, sensitive and erectile part of the female genitals) and, in very rare cases, only the prepuce (the fold of skin surrounding the clitoris).
Excision: partial or total removal of the clitoris and the labia minora, with or without excision of the labia majora (the labia are "the lips" that surround the vagina).
Infibulation: narrowing of the vaginal opening through the creation of a covering seal. The seal is formed by cutting and repositioning the inner, or outer, labia, with or without removal of the clitoris.
Other: all other harmful procedures to the female genitalia for non-medical purposes, e.g. pricking, piercing, incising, scraping and cauterizing the genital area." WHO | Female genital mutilation

It would appear that you are experiencing the expected result of your surgery.

Yes, you need to see a Physician - but keep in mind that in some areas of the World this surgery is a violation of human rights.
