Can I file child abandonment warrant? My exhusband hasn't paid 5 months child support
It's been five months and he now owes $9,000 and refuses to pay. I filed a contempt of court order paperwork and the law has made four attempts to serve him but was unsuccessful. What can I do next? Can I file a child abandonment warrant or just file another contempt of court paperwork again until they reach him? Also is there a way to get his drivers license suspended due to non payments?

First, Any question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

If you live in the US unless you live in Georgia, the answer is probably no. If there is a court order for support and it isn't being paid, in most areas, you need to go back to the court for such actions like contempt or sanctions like suspending a driver's license. Or there may be an agency in your area (many US states have them) who's function is to help collect support.
