    I have NO labido...
I'm a 20 year old girl. I'm healthy, active, and have had every checked out at the doctors, from my thyroid, to a full STD screening. I have never mentioned this to anyone before, but I do not and have not ever had any sort of Labido... I am never turned on, never aroused, or anything. I've been this way since I hit puberty. Never being turned on...
This leaves me with no sex drive, which is a little hard on my marriage. Does anyone know why I am like this, or what I can do to make this better?

    Hello S:

Are you A sexual, or are you just not turned on by your husband?? What I'm asking, is do you turn YOURSELF on, in other words, do you masturbate?

I don't turn myself on. I try and even imagine WOMEN to see if I am attracted to them, and that doesn't do anything for me. I don't masturbate. I have before and it's nice, but I don't get the urge to or anything, I just... do.. /:
But yeah, nothing turns me on. I can watch numerous amounts of porn, or try having my husband rub my body or something and nothing helps. I have been like this for a while but it's just gotten so much worse the last 2-3 years.

Have you visited a Doctor or OBY/GYN to get your hormones and general health checked?

Has there been an event in your life that could be suppressing your libido?

How is your work life balance? A lot of stress? Tired a lot of the time?

What is your recreational reading like?

There is probably something here, but I am unsure what it is.

I am awaiting to hear back from my insurance, to make an appointment to see my gyno. I honestly can't recall anything that would make my "suppress" my labido. I pretty happy childhood and still have a pretty happy adulthood. I handle stress pretty well, and I'm currently out of work and taking a few classes at the local community college. None of which is stressing me out. I'm not tired that often, unless I've been running around all day, which isn't often.
Reading? I love reading. I read quite a bit...
