    Can a Kidney Infection turn into kidney failure answer needed asap
    Can a Kidney Infection turn into Kidney Failure? I was hospitalized and put on antibiotics for 2-3 days but still was given antibiotics to go home with but if they aren't taken could the infection turn into kidney failure

    Absolutely! Unless the bacteria is completely destroyed it will continue to attack your kidneys.

    What antibiotic did they put on? If it's Levaquin. Go back to your doctor and tell him to give you a different drug. Levaquin is bad business and should be taken off the market.

    I can't remember the name it has to be pregnancy safe since I'm in my 3rd trimester. I don't think I've ever taken Levaquin I know at least not recently I haven't I have heard a lot of bad things about Levaquin

    They switched it and its taking a while to get the pharmacy to get them, why I have no earthly idea I've thought about just going back to the hospital
