Ive been with my boyfriend for almost a year, last week we went to his parents house and I found some pictures about 15 years ago. He was modeling in this weird clothes and funky poses and weird gayish faces. He was a t-shirt designer, has a nail polish he once used to paint one of his nails, he has openly many gay friends "he takes me with them", he has red jeans and he likes design in general. "architecture, clothes, chairs etc.

We have great sex, but I have this horrible feeling inside that he might be gay! I want you to open my eyes or tell me I'm being paranoic. Please help!!

A guy who likes fashion and has gay friends isn't enough to qualify for gay.

I say a guy who has a girlfriend, loves his girlfriend, and sleeps with his girlfriend... qualifies as straight.

You determine whether a guy is gay in TWO ways, and in ONLY 2 ways.

1. He tells you.
2. You catch him in a sexual position with another man.

Have you TALKED with him about it?

Frankly, you're ALWAYS going to wonder if he's NOT GAY, because the ways of telling won't happen.

Either you trust him or you don't. If you trust him, then you talk to him and believe his answer. If you DON'T trust him, you should just break up now and save BOTH of you the headache.

He likes to paint one fingernail, OK, I have gay friends that would not do that. In fact I don't know any of my gay friends that do their nails ( color)
All men should get a manicure and have their nails done, ( it is just great)

Well of course he likes buildings and their design, god only knows all of those people have to be gay??

Where do you people get those stereotype ideas.

I could line of 100's of people and you could never pick out who was gay and who was not. Gay people look, and normally act the same as anyone else. They just prefer sex with people of the same gender.

Instead of wondering about him, why not wonder about why you have such a set stereotype of gay men? Gay men are gay because they prefer other men period. It isn't because they like clothes, or have a decent sense of style, or enjoy design. Painting fingernails doesn't make you gay either.. (Have you ever looked at members of Fall Out Boy, or other emo-tastic bands?) Hell, if he wants to be with you so much that he is willing to overlook the offensive and hurtful negative stereotypes you hold about gay men, I would pretty much call him a straight arrow.

What difference does it make? You have been going out for a year and never wondered about his sexual orientation before, until you saw that picture. Talk about it instead of wondering. That drives you crazy.
