    I steal sandals in zellers but they don't caught me but I left my old sandals there.
    I steal sandals at zellers but they don't caught me but I left my old sandals there. They can still seud me for that?

    Yes, since you left your old ones ( hopefully they did not have your name on them) but they can watch the cameras to show who stole them, They have DNA on the old ones to prove it was you if the camera is not clear.

    You are as good as caught. The next knock at the door could be the police

    Why not? They can recover the cost of testing, and getting a nitwit like OP off the street will be worth it to everyone.
