    Anniversary is nearing!
    Greetings Ladies,

I'm not panicking yet, but getting close.

On July 10, we will begin our 47th. Year of marriage. Money is no problem, since we have no money!

Any of you Ladies have any ideas as to how to make this day more special then the other 46?

What would warm you down to your toes with love and affection. That's how I want my Lady to feel!

OK, not looking so good so far Don, I appear to be your only reader so far. A buddy of mine just renewed his marital vow and it was a big hit. The fact that it was on top of the little Eiffel Tower in Vegas may have helped. YouTube - ‪Eiffel Tower in Vegas‬‏

Congratulations Don! I can see why you have had such a long marriage.

Why not do something simple. A nice picnic at a park, a nice meal that you've prepared, maybe a family barbecue. Nothing too fussy or expensive, but heartfelt that shows you went to some trouble to prepare something very special for the date.

    Best of luck!

    Wow congratulatiions Don.

For our silver anniversary my husband made me a CD of music with songs picked to cover his feelings and memories about our relationship from when we met to the present time. He put a lot of thought into choosng the songs and I absolutely loved it. I sometimes play it while I'm doing chores and it really puts me in a good mood towards him. He gets the bonus of coming home to his favourite dinner because his CD had made me all gooey. Not a bad strategy of his lol.

    To all,

I actually just finished the CD a few moments ago. A full three days early!

I picked 22 songs, which was the absolute hardest thing to do for a bear with little brain like me and of course "Pooh".

QLP - Thank you for your suggestion.

I am so pleased she liked it. That looks like a wonderful selection, although there's a couple I'm not familiar with, I will have to search them out for a listen.

I would share what's on my CD but I can't find it, or anything else, due to the renovations atm, but will look forward to playing it again in my lovely new room when the work is finally finished. I sort of know what's on it but I'm hopeless at knowing the actual titles and artists of songs, I had to get hubby to write them all on for me.

Much love to you and Bonnie on your very special day.
