    Prices vary so much from area to area your best bet is to just get 3 bids. You have also not mentioned what type of shingle and grade. Big dif between 15 year Certainteed and 50 year Architectural shingles.

    If you are tearing off and replacing a good average to go by for a roof with one layer, low pitch (below 8/12), one story, and not terribly "cut up" would be $200-$225 per square in my area.. I'd say that price may vary considerably in different parts of the country. I live in Kentucky... Hope that helps
