This is why you hire a marketing firm to do the research for you, but that would take up most of your investment of l00K. We are all volunteers here, Fehmi, so I don't think you will get this information from us.

Best advice I can offer you is that l00K will not carry any industrial business venture passed the first 6 months, namely because of high overhead costs, funds to sustain you while you collect a client base. "Industrial" covers a wide range. Of course you don't say in what country you would be doing this.

    Hello F:

Ain't no such animal... Look. If you wanted to manufacture a simple item like a hula hoop, today it would cost millions to get started...

Tahnk you Tickle for your feedback!

The project would be in Tunisia, the newly liberalized country :-).

The idea could be a small scale product line such as inductrial Food (packaged pastry / backery, etc). My worry is what would be the best line of products and how to find a specialist for the launch period... Cheers!

I can only go by what it would entail entering into that sort of business on the north american continent, especially in Canada. A small businesses such as you describe are going down the tube here because of the high cost of maintaining staff and machinery and raw material to sustain a venture as you describe.

    Hello again, F:

Well, that CHANGES everything... I'm SURE you can find a product to build... The problem is, I know NOTHING about Tunisian lifestyle. But, I KNOW about business...

Let's see if you can translate what I'm going to talk about into what's possible in YOUR country. I LOVE Mexico. I travel there as much as I can. I'm amazed at how industrial they are on a small scale... BIG factories don't impress me...

Mexicans eat tortillas. They used to be made by women. But, somebody invented this little machine that makes 'em. And, these little machines are on just about every corner in every city in the country. They CAN'T cost much.

I'll bet Tunisians eat something like that, that can be manufactured. Tunisia is RIPE for investment, and is a PERFECT market to get something going.

Thank you excon. Agree! The product should fit w the culture. Nevertheless I believe that lot of consumers in developing countries are following the industrial world (Globalization) and hence products (such as packaged food) which are mature in US / Canada / EU could also be launched in developing world.

    Hello again, F:

It's true, they can. But, not on a teeny tiny budget. $100K won't even get the package designed.
