I really need to know the name of this movie. I will try to describe it. It is about a kid named jack who travels to an island through a book. The film is from the 90s. There is a giant stone monster in a the film and a mermaid called Millie. There are pirates and the pirate-leader turns to gold when in a cave at the end of the film. It was a telemovie. Story of a man who murdered his wife in their home, disposed of her body by wrapping it in a rug then he cleaned the house. After her parents begged police to investigate they sprayed the house with luminol which proved he had murdered his wife. Movie is about 20 years old.
