To start with... take a LOT more time and effort than you did asking this question. YOU should be able to write a book on this... if you can't write a single sentence it shows that you lack any drive and motivation, that you are willing to work at anything, and that you have a general lazy attitude towards your work.
That isn't being mean... that's being honest. "Higher studies" means learning more difficult things... that takes work, that takes a LOT of effort, that takes time.
You don't get anything taking the easy way out. Again... your lack of even using a complete sentence shows no desire to take the time needed to accomplish a task. You have to be ready, willing and able to do MORE than you are asked to do... or required to do.
And that is the very first thing you have to deal with.
Because the answer is simple... study, work... and more work. When you think you have done enough... go back and do a lot more.
Motivation... willingness to do hard work, and take as much time as needed to completely understand the subject of study, is the key to success in everything.
I have never met anyone yet that has said they studied too much, or worked too hard at your stage of life. Everyone I know years later will say they wish they had done more than they did at the time. Myself included.
