    56K ITU V.92 ready Fax/Modem (RJ-11 port)
    This is an emachine el 1300-02w.
    Do I have to buy a dial up modem or does this mean there is an internal
    Modem installed?

    That normally means you have a built in DIAL UP modem.

    Just look for the smaller RJ-11 socket on the back.
