    I made a port for a game and I checked to see if it was open. It wasn't how do I open
    I watched a vid on how to make it and when he checked his it was open but mine is closed

    Okay so for a minecraft server you need to make a open port. So I made a port and checked to see if it was open but its closed how do I open it

    What equipment are you using?

    Is this a home network?

    Why open a port for gaming? NAT?

    Not sure if it is applicable for you but I used to port forward to open my NAT for my Xbox 360. Now, I just put it in DMZ and all is good. Much easier.
