Depo Provera Shot

I heard from a few people that some women who have had the depo provera shot can
Bleed up to a month or even 2 whole months.
Is this true?

I started taking the Depo Provera shot. My first injection was January 17th 2011, I had my period February 20th and this Sunday the 13th of march will be 3 weeks, I'm still bleeding and I've talked to my Dr and he just says to give it another week well its been almost a month. What else can I do?
