Identify the artist by his signature (attached photo)
I have a Oil Painting that was brought home to USA from Germany in 1955, it is mounted in a large wooden frame and the artist name is on lower left... I am trying to find out more about the Artist but can not turn anything up in searching the web, not sure I am saying and/or writing in his/her name properly can anyone help determine who the artist was? Maybe a no body but the painting is beautiful even after all these years.

    Thanks
Below is a picture of there signature on painting... http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...2/Painting.jpg

Why not provide the whole painting for us? It will be more easily to find the result.

Thank you for shearing the painting... the artists name Ranrey brings up nothing in my research... and the subject of this painting is of little significance. Most likely this is a GI's souvenir bought at the PX... You should sit back and enjoy the painting and think of all the memories this painting has of your GI's tour of Germany... Fsizz

Thanks Fsizz for your answer, I was born in Germany in 1956, was an Army Brat I guess that is what they called children of US servicemen abroad birthing a child LOL My partners had bought this painting and sent it home to Indiana by ship. It has hung on my wall ever since never did ask parents while living the history of it but now it is interesting to me WHO might of painted it, maybe someone famous... LOL.
    Thanks Again
