    Changing drive belt on sears lawnmower
    I am trying to change the drive belt on a sears 21" power propelled lawnmower model 917.377800 . I can not seem to gain access to part of the belt to remove it from pulley. I have a manual but it does not explain how to do this. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

I changed the Motion Drive Belt on my 20hp 1999 Sears Garden Tractor. After changing, tested it, and it has plenty of "pick up" and runs good. However, after a minute or two, smell burning rubber. Is this normal, perhaps a "break in" period, or is it likely I have done something wrong?
