    Is this petrified bone?
    This came from arabia i think, or in that area. approx. 5 inches.open in 3 places and almost looks burnt.the open holes do not go all the way through.

    My guess is a limb cast from a tree limb rather than a fossilized bone.

Hello doctor, my mother(45+ years) has bone spur(tissue like projection) in the foot from the foot x-ray and scan taken. now I have a doubt that whether is it a bone tumor or bone spur. because sometimes she has fever, chills and little night sweat, vomiting and tenderness, swelling.

I found this object in a river in Russell Pa while hunting for artifacts, it is heavy enough that if it is bone it is fossilized.
