Sony CD player won't play CDs after playing MP3

Our CD player worked fine until we made an MP3 disc and played it. It plays the MP3 well both from a disc and from an iPOD. However, now it won't play regular CDs again. It says "No CD". Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
