    You become an expert by demonstrating your knowledge in a subject which means correctly answering a whole lot of questions. If this happens then you'll likely get noticed and mayne asked to become an expert. There's more in the site's FAQ: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq

    And no, you will likely not profit from being an expert here, they are all volunteers.
