Acquiring german passport through german grandparents?
Hi our Grandmother was born in Germany and moved to Canada in The 20's. Our mother was born here. Our grandfather was born in the United States but was of German decent. Can we get a German passport through our grandmother?

German nationality is only acquired if one parent is German.

Having German grandparents is not enough. You need to prove that one of your parents was German on the day you were born.
